Beasley Burn

So the big bike race was this last weekend in Ephrata. Josh, Matt and Joe all competed. They all finished, and no injuries - and only 1 broken bike! Not too bad.
Besides that, we had a ton of fun... some of my favorites!
- DK's almond roca polar swirl - yummy!
- Playing taboo, clue and pictionary in the evening.
- Joe getting me hazelnut lattes in the morning :)
- Pedicures with Jenn and Ellen
- Drive home on highway 2 with Jenn and Matt including a stop at the Craft Warehouse in
Wenatchee and Alpine Burgers in Startup, WA.

Now for some pictures!

Sorry for the lack of posts... I've been busy savin' lives. Now the night shifts are officially over! (Well for a couple months at least.) So I'm looking forward to getting my life back!

Rainy Seattle

Yesterday afternoon, Joe and I took some of the girls around to some of Seattle's more famous places - the first Starbucks, Kerry Park, the Space Needle, Pike Place. Joe was gracious enough to drive... we would have been lost without him! By Seattle standards it was actually raining pretty hard!

Sunshine

Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous! I made it outside at lunch for 30 minutes. I can't remember the last time I could actually feel the warmth of the sun. Today's looking pretty good as well... can't wait to get outside!

Lazy Days

If the last day you work is "your Friday" then logically the next day would be "your Saturday". With this new theory in mind, my days off have been a lot more relaxing! I'm putting up some recent pix as well.

Breakfast at Great Harvest
The place with the awesome danish!

I went with Marcia recently, and made it all the way up!

Funky Blueberry Muffins
My baking experiment for this week.
I made these this morning... it was basically cheating.
I can't wait for a real oven that bakes things properly!!
