Bare Feet

Shoes on or off? For the sake of not sweeping the floor every other day, we keep a general policy of no shoes in the house. Of coarse, this is not a "letter of the law" type of rule but more of a general guideline. Several months ago, Joe asked me to make a sign reminding people to take their shoes off and I finally got around to it this morning.

  1. Cute sign! I am your house guest with the worst habits!

  2. I love the font on the top. I'll be sure to take my shoes off this weekend, hehe! But you might want to clarify that socks are okay... some people have really stinky and sweaty feet. Or so I hear anyway, my feet are always too cold to be that gross. :P hehe

  3. Thanks for stopping by Percolating Projects and entering in the giveaway!
To answer your question, I got the boxwood plant at a store called Garden Ridge. I'd never heard of it til I moved to the midwest. But my jaw dropped as soon as I walked inside. Massive. Cheap. Crafty goodness.
I'd try Michaels or Hobby Lobby as well. I avoid asking cashiers there though cause they'll send you to the boxes. Or tell you they don't sell wood.
Apparently I mumble when I talk.
Thanks for being a new friend!!!

  4. Hey Renae! Guess what?! You won!!!!
I couldn't find an email for me with your address so we can get that baby shipped!

  5. Good for you. A shoes-off policy really does make a difference.

I have an whole blog on this subject: Shoes Off at the Door, Please You might like to take a look.
